About the SIG
This SIG meets four times a year with various guest speakers. It provides an opportunity for networking, gaining skills and support, and sharing of new developments. The group has a very active Google Group where members share knowledge about online topics such as social media, Web 2.0, technology solutions and software, online communications issues and Enterprise 2.0 developments.
Who Should Attend
Local Government professionals who work in an online environment in IT, or in online communications such as intranets, websites and social media.
Web Network Online Forum
This SIG is supported by an online forum. We believe that accessing knowledge from individuals who work in a similar environment is invaluable and should never be underestimated. Our forums are just for people working in Local Government and there are many benefits to participating in them. They are a great way to keep in touch in between meetings, by asking your fellow SIG colleagues questions and sharing resources. Agendas, minutes and presentations will also be posted on the forum.
