Decision making processes are 'make or break' for Councils. Done well they can provide strategic focus and reflect clear accountabilities. When these processes fail the organisation and its people are exposed to a myriad of reputational, financial and occupational health and safety risks.

This full day workshop is targeted at those staff from across the Local Government sector who are not specialist governance staff but whose roles require them to have a clear understanding of the governance context and arrangements.

It will help participants to better understand and articulate appropriate decision making models for Local Government.
