LGPro congratulates Knox City Council for winning the Victorian heat of 2026's Australasian Management Challenge.

Their team - Knox in Sox - was revealed as the winner live as part of LGPro's Annual Conference on the evening of Wednesday 17 June.

Moonee Valley and South Gippsland were each awarded as runners up in the contest between 25 councils.

Knox's team will be competing against Australia and New Zealand's top performing teams at the Australasian Management Challenge final.

The Management Challenge is a simulation-based team building, learning, and networking program that provides real life problem solving experiences, exposing local government professionals to the issues a senior management team would likely face. The teams are challenged to respond to a series of tasks in a fast-paced 'pressure cooker' environment.
