ABOUT THE AUSTRALASIAN MANAGEMENT CHALLENGE
The Australasian Management Challenge is a sophisticated development program that provides real life problem solving experiences and produces outcomes that translate into relevant, tangible and enduring benefits for your people, your teams and your organisation. It's also good fun, great value and a hands-on approach to leadership development.
It provides an opportunity for team members to develop their skills and become more effective in the way they:
Teams of five or six members from any level of Local Government, undertake tasks alongside other participating councils that typify management in the Local Government environment.
With the aid of an in-house mentor and detailed preparation kit, teams spend time together in the weeks preceding the regional event to develop their skills, get to know each other's strengths and weaknesses and develop strategies. They will also need to complete a Pre-Challenge Task that will be counted towards the team's final assessment.
DATES AND HOW TO REGISTER
The Management Challenge is held each March throughout Australia and in New Zealand. The date for Victorian competing teams will be 22 and 23 March 2017.
