Nominations for the ALGWA Victoria Bursary Award close at 5PM on Friday 4 September 2026.
The winner will be announced at LGPro's 2026 Women's Network Dinner on Thursday 22 October at the Park Hyatt Melbourne.
Supported by LGPro, the ALGWA Victoria Bursary Award helps women and non-binary people in local government to grow their careers and develop their skills.
The Bursary Award provides a $2,500 cash prize as part of a package valued at over $7,500, supporting the winner's professional development and study related to their role in local government.
Council officers can nominate for the Bursary Award as long as their council is a member of ALGWA Victoria.
